Most people who find their way to therapy aren’t falling apart.
They’re functioning — working, showing up, managing — but something isn’t working anymore. They’re tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix. They’re stuck in patterns they can see but can’t seem to change. They’ve been holding it together for a long time and they’re ready to do something different.
Does that sound like you?
Who I Work With:
- Trauma and complex PTSD
- Chronic stress and burnout
- Chronic illness and the emotional weight that comes with it
- Neurodivergent individuals and the unique challenges that come with living in a world not designed for the way your brain works
How I Work:
I draw on several evidence-based approaches depending on what fits the person and the problem:
EMDR helps the brain process traumatic memories that haven’t fully resolved — experiences that still feel present even when they’re in the past. It’s structured, effective, and doesn’t require you to talk through everything in detail.
Somatic therapy works with the body, not just the mind. Trauma and chronic stress live in the nervous system, not just in thoughts and memories. Somatic work helps regulate what talk therapy alone sometimes can’t reach.
DBT provides concrete skills for managing intense emotions, navigating difficult relationships, and tolerating distress without making things worse. It’s practical, structured, and teachable.
I don’t use one method for everyone. I use what actually works for the person in front of me.
